ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Candidates seeking admission into Undergraduate  Courses such as Law LL.B. (3YDC),LL.B. Hons. (3YDC), B.A. LL.B. (5YDC), and B.B.A. LL.B. (5YDC), as well as Postgraduate
    Law Courses including LL.M. (Constitutional Law) and LL.M. (Corporate & Securities
    Law), may obtain admission through the following modes:

1. CONVENOR QUOTA SEATS

1.Admission in LL.B. 3Yrs & 5Yrs Course through Entrance Exam: By appearing for the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TGLAWCET), conducted every year (generally during May) by the Convenor, Osmania University, Hyderabad. Website: https://lawcet.tgche.ac.in/

1.A) For PG Course LL.M. Admission is based on qualifying in the PG Law Common Entrance Test (TGPGLCET) conducted by Osmania  University, Hyderabad.

* The OBC candidates shall invariably submit their OBC certificate issued by the competent authority to support 42% of aggregate marks in Graduation.

2. MANAGEMENT QUOTA SEATS

Candidates may also seek admission under the Management Quota as per the rules and regulations of TGCHE, without appearing for TGLAWCET/PGLCET by paying prescribed fee fixed by the College Management and the Eligible Conditions are as follows

ELIGIBILITY [For Admission Into LL.B. 3 Yr/ 5 Yr Degree Courses]

a) Candidate should be an Indian National.
b) Rank Card in TGLAWCET (If Any)
c) Educational Qualifications:

­(i) Any degree from a recognised University in India in 10+2+3 for 3 yr LL.B Degree and 10+2 pattern for 5 year LL.B. Integrated Degree.

(ii) Candidate should secure the following percentage of marks in the Qualifying Degree.
45% for OC / BC
40% for SC / ST

(iii) Candidates who have less than prescribed percentage of marks but have secured
the same percentage or more on the aggregate in any PG Degree (Master Degree) or
B.Ed. are also eligible for admission into 3 Years LL.B Course.

(iv) Candidates who have passed Degree examination by single sitting without
undergoing three years course either through regular or private or correspondence and those who obtained the Degree through Open University system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible.

(v) Candidates who have obtained 10+2 or graduation / post-graduation through Open University System directly without having any bas basic qualification are not eligible.

d) Vacant seats if any may be filled with eligible candidates on merit basis who have
passed the qualifying examination and it shall be ensured that all the eligible rank
holders are considered for admission, before filling up vacant

LL.M. ADMISSION CRITERIA :

a) Candidate should be an Indian National.
b) Rank Card in TGPGLCET (If Any)
c) Educational Qualifications:

a. The candidate must have completed LL.B. (3 Year or 5 Year Law Degree) from a recognized university.
b) The candidate should have secured:

  • Minimum 50% marks for General category
  • Minimum 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC categories (as per rules).
